Human environments and the way in which they are occupied have always fascinated me; and the composition of color and material has always inspired me. I seek to be creative in some way everyday, and that has led me from childhood art lessons to a fine art education, and now to a career in interior design. My interests are both broad and complimentary, exploring endless creative possibilities. Scandinavian architecture, fashion design, unique furniture, photography, and modern art are just a few of the influences that drive my creativity and I enjoy finding new ways of learning about and appreciating their impact on the design community.

I am enjoying my involvement in the interior design field and hope to further gain a more detailed perspective of all aspects of design by working with various design mediums. My education has provided an excellent overview of design, covering urban planning, architecture, landscape design, interior design, and furniture design. I have worked in a custom furniture design firm, a residential architecture office, and am now currently employed at a commercial architecture firm where I have been involved in interior design and material finish selections. My interest in interior design combined with my broad background and long list of interests confirm that I am already in the right career field. I look forward to extending my knowledge, achieving professional accreditation, and continuing to gain work experience in a career I am truly passionate about.
